Rotary is an international service organization whose purpose is the co-operation of people in the business and professional field with the aim of providing humanitarian services, promoting high ethical standards in all professions, and promoting goodwill and peace worldwide. It is an organization open to all people, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. Rotary has 34,282 clubs worldwide, as well as over 1.2 million individuals known as Rotarians members of these clubs. Even this year Rotary is awarding scholarships to outstanding students. “Rotary Worldwide awards 130 scholarships this year to students from all over the world, where Kosovo can be part of it and we are working to have someone from our country,” said Korab Zhuja, president of the Pristina Newborn Rotary Club (www.rcpnb.org ), as well as the District Rotary Peace Fellowship Subcommittee Chair.
