NAWA PROJECT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MALTA – 21.03.-26.03.2022
FOURTH WORKSHOP OF THE GROUP OF STUDENTS AND PROFRSSORS OF UHZ
THIS TIME IN MALTA – UNIVERSITY OF MALTA
The European project “Competent student – ready for employment” supported by European foundations and organized by the Polish Academic Institute NAWA, has participants from 5 European Universities: University “Haxhi Zeka”, University of Leuven in Belgium, University “Tomas Bata” in Zlin of the Czech Republic, the University of Malta and the University of Opole in Poland.
From each University, 9 students have been selected, ie a total of 45 students participating in the Project. UHZ students participating. were selected through open competition, similar to students from four other universities, after application and interview by authorized NAWA Project experts.
- The NAWA project in all 5 participating Universities organizes a one-week Seminar-Workshop on various topics related to the competencies of the graduate student:
- The first workshop was held during September 2021 at Haxhi Zeka University.
- The second workshop was held in October at the University of Leuven in Belgium.
- The third workshop was held in February 2022 at Thomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic
During this week, from 21.03.2022 to 26.03.2022 the professors of UHZ, Prof.dr. Edmond Beqiri and Prof.dr. Ibish Mazreku, representatives of the Administration Diana Shala and Valbona Luta, together with 9 students selected for this project: Durim Selmonaj, Florlinda Berisha, Ajshe Komoni, Djellza Loci, Aulonë Cenaj, Duresa Kilaj, Malsore Duraku, Dorentina Brahimaj and Fjolla Halitaj were part of the fourth NAWA Project Workshop, organized in Malta, at the University of Malta. The main theme was the implementation of the Blue Ocean strategy in potential business management situations supported by software dedicated to supporting managerial decisions. UHZ students during the days of the Workshop gained experience and creative knowledge having the opportunity to collaborate with other international students who were participants together with them in all parts and segments of the project. UHZ students were members of the teams that took the first 2 places for the projects realized in this workshop.
During these days at the University of Malta, which UHZ has a partner with a formal cooperation agreement, with a teacher mobility project, Prof.asoc.dr. Theranda Beqiri, who participated in several workshop activities and contributed to the success of UHZ students.
In their spare time the participants visited the Maltese capital La Vallete, the historic city of Mdina and some beautiful cities of Malta. In the Social Life Program, a several-hour boat cruise has been organized, visiting the beautiful parts of Malta from this perspective.
