Rektori i Universitetit Haxhi Zeka në Pejë, prof. dr. Armand Krasniqi vizitoi sot Ministrinë e Mbrojtjes së Republikës së Kosovës. Në këtë takim rektori Krasniqi u prit nga ministri Z. Armend Mehaj. Rektori Krasniqi, e falenderoi ministrin Mehaj për pritjen e ngrohtë e shumë miqësore dhe e informoi atë mbi sukseset, sfidat dhe pritshmëritë e universitetit “Haxhi Zeka” në fushën e zhvillimit akademik, iniciativave për zhvillim ekonomik dhe fuqizimin e të rinjve në rajonin e Dukagjinit. Theks të veçantë gjatë bisedës iu kushtua mundësive të bashkëpunimit ndërmjet dy institucioneve. Ministri Mehaj shprehu gatishmërinë dhe vullnetin e plotë për bashkëpunim me UHZ-në në fusha të cilat janë me interes të përbashkët të të dy institucioneve dhe për iniciativa të cilat mbështesin të rinjtë tanë drejt përgatitjes sa më të mirë në fushën akademike e shoqërore.
Ky takim është si rrjedhojë e përkushtimit të menaxhmentit të UHZ-së drejt arritjes së objektivave strategjike dhe plotësimin e heliksit të trefishtë të bashkëpunimit Qeveri-Universitetit-Industri, gjë të cilën ministri Mehaj e përkrahu dhe pa asnjë hezitim ofroj mbështetjen e ministrisë që drejton për iniciativat e UHZ-së.
Në ditët në vazhdim pritet edhe finalizimi formal i nënshkrimit të marrëveshjes së bashkëpunimit ndërmjet UHZ-së dhe Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes.

The rector of UHZ meets the minister of defence in the Republic of Kosova, Mr. Armend Mehaj
The rector of the University “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja, prof. dr. Armand Krasniqi visited the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo. In this meeting, the rector Krasniqi was received by the minister Mr. Armend Mehaj. Rector Krasniqi expresses his gratitude to minister Mehaj for the warm and very friendly reception and informed him about the successes, challenges and expectations of the university “Haxhi Zeka” in the field of academic development, initiatives for economic development and the empowerment of young people in the Dukagjin region. During the conversation, special emphasis was placed on the possibilities of cooperation between the two institutions. Minister Mehaj expressed his fully willingness to cooperate with the UHZ in areas that are of common interest to both institutions and for initiatives that support our young people towards the best possible preparation in the academic and social fields.
This meeting is the result of the commitment of the UHZ management towards achieving its strategic objectives and completing the triple helix of Government-University-Industry cooperation, which Minister Mehaj supported and without any hesitation offered the support of the ministry he leads for UHZ initiatives.
In the coming days, the formal finalisation of the signing of the cooperation agreement between UHZ and the Ministry of Defense is expected.
