The participation of Prof. Ass. Dr. Fisnik Morina at the Pegaso International Scientific Conference “Challenges for a Global Higher Education: Digitalisation, Open Science, and Bioethics” (Malta, 2021)
In order to increase the quality of scientific research at the University “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja, Professor of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Ass. Dr. Fisnik Morina, Post – Doc participated in the International Scientific Conference entitled “Challenges for a Global Higher Education: Digitalization, Open Science, and Bioethics”, organized by Pegaso International Higher Education Institution, in Malta on October 29-30, 2021.
The purpose of this international scientific conference is to encourage academic discussion on topics related to Higher Education, Digitalization, Open Science and Ethics. This international scientific conference was attended by a large number of scientific researchers from around the world who addressed the topics of multicultural societies in terms of economics and sustainable economic development, especially in European countries.
Prof. Ass. Dr. Noble Morina in collaboration with MSc. Arbër Alijaj presented at this international scientific conference the paper entitled “The Impact of the COVID – 19 Pandemic on the Real Economy in Kosovo: Opportunities for Recovery and Economic Transformation”. The presentation of the paper received very good impressions and was evaluated with 1 ECTS credit by the Editorial Board of the conference.
The main conclusion of this international scientific conference is that information technology and sustainable economic development are important factors of higher education as well as economic prosperity, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
