Within the framework of the strategy of the University “Haxhi Zeka” for close cooperation with all municipalities in the Dukagjini region, the Rector of UHZ, prof.dr. Armand Krasniqi with associates, visited today the Municipality of Junik. Rector Krasniqi, Dean of FB, prof.asoc.dr. Halit Shabani, Director of the Career Office, Mr. Abedin Selimaj and Director of the Library Mr. Veton Jahmurataj were received by the Mayor of this municipality, Mr. Ruzhdi Shehu and the Director of the Directorate of Education, Mr. Xhavit Velijaj.
The purpose of the meeting was the cooperation between UHZ and Municipality of Junik. Rector Krasniqi, informed the mayor Shehu about the university flows, objectives and its action strategy with the student in the center. Also, the rector spoke about the summer university in Peja that starts on June 24, which has an international character and is organized for the first time by UHZ.
Mayor Shehu thanked the guests for the visit and expressed gratitude for the provided information. He confirmed that the municipality of Junik welcomes the cooperation with Haxhi Zeka University. The parties finally agreed to specify key points of cooperation and then sign a memorandum of cooperation.
